Today, the NorNet Core hosted by Bell Labs Korea in Seoul, South Korea got native IPv6 connectivity from its Internet service provider Korea Research Environment Open NETwork, the Korean research network. That is, NorNet Core now got its first native IPv6 endpoint in Asia. With IPv6 connectivity already available in Europe (endpoints in Norway and Germany), America (Lawrence, Kansas) and Asia (Bell Labs Korea), the researchers now have the possibility of natively using IPv6 on three different continents.
