  The new stable version 1.5.3 is available! It provides improvements for Linux MPTCP usage, together with a new kernel patch to add some socket options for MPTCP to configure MPTCP connections. To make full use of the Linux MPTCP features, perform the following steps:

  1. Get the patched Linux MPTCP kernel sources from https://github.com/dreibh/mptcp.
  2. Alternatively, get the stable Linux MPTCP kernel sources from the Université catholique de Louvain; currently: v0.89.4. Then, apply the MPTCP socket options patch 0001-MPTCP-0.89.4-with-socketoptions.patch after checking its README file 0001-MPTCP-0.89.4-with-socketoptions.patch.readme.
  3. Compile and install the new kernel, boot it and enjoy NetPerfMeter's capabilities to configure MPTCP.

  The new stable version 1.4.0 is ready! It provides significant improvements for Linux MPTCP usage, together with a kernel patch to add some socket options for MPTCP to configure MPTCP connections. Particularly, it is now possible to turn on/off MPTCP per connection instead of enabling/disabling it globally via sysctl. To make full use of these Linux MPTCP features, perform the following steps:

  1. Get the stable Linux MPTCP kernel sources from the Université catholique de Louvain; currently: v0.88.11.
  2. Apply the MPTCP socket options patch 0001-MPTCP-0.88.11-with-socketoptions.patch after checking its README file 0001-MPTCP-0.88.11-with-socketoptions.patch.readme.
  3. Compile and install the new kernel, boot it and enjoy NetPerfMeter's capabilities to configure MPTCP.

  A new development version is available: 1.4.0~rc3. It contains some fixes.

  A new development version is available: 1.4.0~rc2.0. It contains some fixes for MPTCP as well as optional control connection support via TCP. It therefore can also when in setups where SCTP is not possible, e.g. with NAT.
